launcher pro plus worth it?

Just rootes my phone and installed launcher pro free. Went to make a standard messaging widget and apparently can't resize it.

Is it worth paying for the full version or is it nothing special?
 
"Plus" is not worth the price. But Launcher Pro "non-plus" is well worth the price. I paid for plus just so I could contribute to the development of an excellent product.
 
I think it's absolutely worth it!
Being able to resize widgets is SOOO useful (because some widgets get deformed when you add rows\columns to the homescreens). The Facebook and Twitter widgets are the best... I really like the swype gesture feature for missed phone calls, unread texts, and browser bookmarks.
Also giving the developer some money to keep working on updates\additions makes it more worth it.
 
Yes it is worth it, especially once you figure out all it can do. The friends widget is worth the price alone IMHO. Then with three dock and the swipe to open option you can have shortcuts to 30 different things right on your dock, the ability to customize almost everything. Plus it is being rebuilt to even make it better and quicker, which is not an issue right now.

I got it for those reasons as well
 
I bought the full version. On a side note is there any way to change the settings of the app bar at the bottom of the screen? I want to lock it from scrolling mainly.

Preferences >>> Dock Settings >>> Number of Docks

Change this to ONE if you don't want the dock to scroll...
 
I like being able to resize widgets but the one thing missing that I'd really like to see is a DECENT FACEBOOK app. The one included is just a news feed. I can get that in the basic facebook app for free. If it included CHAT then I'd be all for it!
 
I'd say it's well worth it. Plus, the developer updates the app hella frequently, and is so quick to make fixes and additions. If nothing else, I'd say shell out the couple bucks because the developer is awesome with keeping on top of the app. That's what makes it the best launcher imo.
 
I think it's completely worth it. Like said above, resizing widgets rocks and I think the calendar is the best out there.
 
I went straight to plus so I cannot comment on the free version but its the only home replacement i have come back to after trying its competitors.

+1. The widgets kind of suck but the launcher is awesome so I had no qualms dropping a few bucks.
