every time i download a launcher it doesn't show up ?

Also: If you power off, then turn power on, you have a choice of which Launcher you want to use. Set the one you want as the default launcher.

When my wife got her new Elite and installed Go Launcher Ex, she had to restart her phone to have it recognize the new launcher. Then she was able to set as the default.

I've only once had a new launcher not ask which to use as default. I went in to settings -> apps -> manage apps -> launcher -> clear default
then when you hit home it should ask you which launcher to use.
