LauncherPro Beta

is there a spot to control the mobile network toggle on the switchpro app, or do I have to manually do that everytime??

As of now I don't think anyone has found a mobile network toggle widget to replace the HTC one so you just have to do it manually. If you hold the end key you can turn it off that way.

I only saw one, but that one is pretty awesome!!! You can now hide the icon titles according to the link.:D

Oh yeah, he updated again right after the regular update. He had to patch one thing, so the list of add ons are below his recent post. :P

Did the update and it looks awesome. Love the no titles/no notification bar look. Phone looks so sleek now. Still as fast as ever too.

Whoa, the newest update (version 0.4.2) has 4x5 for the homescreens! That means 5 rows of icons! It's experimental and only works for portrait orientation. Also has Froyo style for the bottom dock...and 4 icons.

I'm gonna see how battery life stands up to ADW. If you're having trouble finding it in the market, I've put it up on my dropbox.

Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Navigate to "Sense">clear defaults.

When you press the home key you will see a dialog box Select "Home" and check the box to do this action by default. Press home.

You can repeat this process to go back to using sense.

I might sound stupid...
I did go through the steps described above.
Then I had to add some of the widgets back, but otherwise everything looked pretty much the same as before. The phone seems a bit more responsive.
So what did those steps do?
Peter

I have the OTA 2.1 with the occasional silent bug and a few apps (notebook, swype.)

Restarting Sense always gives the perception of a performance boost for me.

I have no data to show that there is such a boost, but one thing it has done is cause me to stick with Sense as my default launcher rather than switch to Launcher Pro as I thought I might.

Hey, check out the new update. What does everyone think about the 3D app tray? Kinda tripy...

It doesn't matter to me. Honestly, I want fast and easy access, not fancy tricks. I'm just using the normal tray with the opening speed set to 10.

I'm an ADW advocate, but after seeing the new update had a 3D app drawer I had to try it again.. I might just stay with it :O

Didn't really look at it like a fancy trick... saw the Lg Ally has it standard. I think its just a good enhancement, and variety. I like it. BUT, I would like the wrap around next.

I'm happy with all the updates and new additions to Launcherpro. I'm even happier that the new additions haven't slowed it down at all. Still by far my favorite home replacement....
