Like the changes and the changes that are upcoming on future releases. Go to launcherpro.com if you want to comment or suggest anything. Dev takes things the people want and implements, very nice!
That looks nice, jearl. I cannot get my newly downloaded LP 3 to change from the default, drab icons, though.
Nothing in the menu. Hmm..
Long press on the icon you want to change.
If someone wants to get rid of Sense once and for all, then I would suggest not buying an HTC device.
Has anyone noticed insane battery usage since updating launcher pro?
What's the comparison on response times vs. Sense?

Thanks. This is good to know. I had GDE, and while visually appealing, was a bit buggy and was a pig on processor usage (response times became pretty bad).On my device Launcher Pro is quite quick in transitioning from app to app, screen to screen, etc.
It is probably a bit quicker than Sense. It seems about the same as Home.
A lot of that is subjective perception; I have not timed anything.

I found myself having to swipe my thumb all the way across a screen in LP to make it shift to the next one, while in Sense I can just make a quick, small swipe to do the same thing.
Hmm... I wonder why. Mine switches with about a half-inch of finger movement.
make sure sense is disabled and reboot your phone and see if that helps. Thats what I did and everything seems fine battery wise.
Can you tell me where you would disable senseui from?
Thanks,

Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Navigate to "Sense">clear defaults.
When you press the home key you will see a dialog box Select "Home" and check the box to do this action by default. Press home.
You can repeat this process to go back to using sense.
Ok, love this app....but how do you get the digital clock and weather on the homescreen as in the pic above?
