LauncherPro Discoveries

I don't know if any of you guys know this, but this was an awesome discovery to me. I found out that you can actually move left and right on the dock to add more icons! There are 2x more sets of 5 that you can add. I found this by accidentally swiping right on the dock when I wanted to change homescreens. I now have to change my homescreens because now I can add 15 of my most used apps on the dock, which will clear up the screen space for more stuff. I'm already having trouble filling up the 7 screens, hehe.

LauncherPro is AWESOME! :D

Have any kind of "secret" tips with this app?

Not a secret however if you click the Menu button then select Preferences you can configure a ton of options in LauncherPro including the number of Homescreens as well as the number of Docks to scroll through.

I remember turning it on but I had no idea what they meant by 3. lol I didn't know LauncherPro had that capability. I love the 3D app drawer (without live wallpaper, it's as smooth as butter).

I also prefer to take off the texts below the apps. I wish it was more like Apple's where the text doesn't have a background or "bubble". I like to try to keep my screens minimalist.

will launcher pro change the way I set the apps on my screens...can I save them and then try out launcher pro

edit**** nevermind I just found a home switcher app

I can't really imagine using anything else other than this. Hehe

Turn on the high quality scrolling and the 3d app drawer.
I am really liking this

I like the home screen function to see all seven screens too

I have been missing out..got to get to customizing and setting launcherpro as my default

Turn on the high quality scrolling and the 3d app drawer.

I was using the 3d App Drawer, but I seem to accidentally open apps while I'm scrolling through it. Even if I just flick it sometimes. I turned it off for now, even though it does look sweet.

I am LOVING LauncherPro so far. I can't wait for the update which will hopefully allow the Motorola Contact Widget to work. That contact widget is really the only thing that the stock launcher has over LauncherPro IMO.

Wow i can tell i am new to all of this. I have no clue what launcherpro is or how to set it to high quality and 3d

how do i enable the 3D app drawer and the high quality scrolling? I can't seem to find it under the Preferences.

edit: never mind, i found it and it is awesome!!

I downloaded home switcher but even if I set the Moto interface as the default it reverts back to LauncherPro every time I leave and return to my home screen.

I like LauncherPro alot, but I think it also needs to support the Moto resizeable widgets.

They're going to be working on resizing widgets with LP and adding it as a feature.

can someone direct me to this app, and how to use it? I tried to get it but had no luck with iniation of it.

Install it from app market and hit the home button. The option touse it will come up
It is like stock but much faster, 7 screens, dock bar with 15 slots(press and hold spot on dock to switch app), also add extra row of icons. Go to LauncherPro for more.An app called Home Switcher is a.good way to swotch home screen alternatives

I'm having this same issue. Any idea how to correct this? I've installed Home Switcher to change between stock and LP and set Stock as default, but the home button always takes me back to the LP home screen.

It says that enabling high-quality scrolling decreases performance, but how does that make sense?

Doesn't high quality scrolling show a faster, better version of the scrolling? What performance exactly is affected? Does it make other screens slow?

And would this affect battery life at all?

Been using LauncherPro for almost two months now, and had no clue that you could swype the dock left and right for more icons.. lol

Thanks :D
