LauncherPro Plus?

i like it. only issue is that the people widget won't display photos of people who are synced with their FB profile.

What if you long press?

I remember that list of icons of apps popping up on my old Droid sometimes by accident when I was trying to do something.

still takes me to contact.
I was thinking that maybe the picture is of HTC Sense UI. Not sure cause I thought LauncherPro's own widgets wouldn't differentiate the Sense UI and Motoblur.
Hopefully Federico will fix it.

I deleted LPP and and did a total reset. I wasn't sure of what was making my fone so jumpy and jerky. I had LPP, Beautiful Widgets and a scrolling calendar program. The whole lot took so long to load and my UI became so jerky, I deleted it. I find going back to the original UI far smoother. Sorry to be a downer.

Steven

I am about to delete LP as well. My screens have been completely un-butter for the past day. LP worked fantastic and smooth for about a day but after the update (it may be the placebo effect), everything just seems to take longer and by beautiful widgets home takes forever to pull up when I select it. Meanwhile, every time I switch back to the stock launcher, everything is great. Not trying to be a downer but just trying to see if anyone else has had these issues than just Steven and I. Thanks all.

Have you guys noticed that on LPP, the People Widget doesn't work the same way as it does on the LP website?
on the website, the picture says that when you click a person, the option of calling, texting, emailing and such come up (pictured below). However, when i do it on my phone, it just goes to their contact info.
im just hoping that the future update will fix that.

It works fine for me. I get the options to call, email, text, or find directions to that person's house.
Not sure why its not working for you.

Getting updates to LauncherProPlus..

Go into the Market and search for LauncherPro. It should list it as an "Update" for it (however that shouldn't really matter if it does or doesn't). Moving on, just go ahead and install it. Once you have it installed simply go Preferences -> Unlock LauncherPro Plus. From there it will ask you to enter in your email (the one you used to pay with PayPal) and the unlock code. In order to get that just go to LauncherPro Plus Unlock Code and follow the instructions.

I really liked the setup of LauncherPro Beta and would purchase it because the People widget looks extremely useful. However, I installed Launcher along with the Home Switcher app and my phone was so laggy it wasn't even enjoyable to use so I deleted it.

A couple other people mentioned the lag but to me there was a night and day difference between the stock and Launcher, with the stock being much better.

I installed LP the day I got the phone and it was a revelation compared to stock, so when LPP came out, I purchased. However, like some have mentioned above, LPP made my phone laggy and jittery. Yesterday I uninstalled LPP and went back to LP and my phone is running well again. Not sure why this is happening to some and not others.

I haven't had any issues with LPP at all. I like the Friend's widget so far but it could certainly use more work (which I'm sure will come). For the people having performance and lag issues, have you tried going to LPP's Preferences > Advanced Settings > Memory Usage Settings, select Medium (for 5 or less home screens) or High if you're using 7 home screens. Also under Advanced Settings I have the following checked off: "Use homescreen caches" and "Build caches as needed"

Don't know if that will help you guys or not but maybe give it a shot!

Mines starting to feel lower after the LPP update. I changed my memory settings to medium. I hope it resolves the issue.

What will change if I change the memory setting to high (i have 7 screens)?

This should complete the Droid X hard reset.

I had lost my home screen after a factory reset .due to a backup program.
I had no way to key into the on screen setting, pulling the battery was no real help.
One side note:
"Volume key" make choice selector go up or down.
The OK button is the "Camera button"
