Help Leave it on or turn it off?

Wish google would take care of their previous os systems, and add features( like a apps2sd, and better power management), like windows used to do, like a update for systems that are legacy. There's no reason to stop supporting a os , because there's something new, that practice will kill the appeal for android, they should treat the older os's, like windows used to treat theirs with windows update.

The difference is that google gives the android os and the updates away for free. It is the phone manufacturers and the wireless carriers that sometimes drag their feet when it comes to releasing the updates. Instead of going back and patching in features for the old versions, they just release the whole new one. It is open source code, free for anyone to do what they want with it, not like microsoft selling the next windows.

I never turn my phone off...i wouldn't know what to do!! Lol its only been off once when it died completely but i rushed to get my charger and then when i turned it off after i changed the bootloader. I usually wait until the battery turns orange to charge it. If i know I'm going somewhere possibly out of reach of charging it then i charge it lol. I got kinda bored reading what i just wrote haha! :)
Yeah me too (yawn) jk lol

Exactly. Google does all it needs to do. It would be ridiculous for us to expect Google to make an update for EVERY phone out there. And the manufacturers have to split their resources between making updates for their older phones (so that when we replace our phones, we'll choose them again) and getting the newer software to work for the phones they are getting ready to come out with. And of course they are going to concentrate on their higher end models, which filters down over time to their lower end ones.
