Root Let's get CM finished for the Force.

Well I just got an S3 so I really have no use for my Force now. I we can get this phone to Junkie then the work on CM can continue and maybe can get finished. Junkie had said I'd he had a device to test with he would continue. I'm only asking $60 for the phone. Maybe everyone can chip in on some donations and get this phone to him. If anyone is interested I'll add a donation link. Thank you everyone and let's make this happen.

I start my new job tomorrow :) I'm really excited, unfortunately though, that means I won't get my pay check for at least a couple weeks, otherwise, I'm in for donating!

Anything helps, as soon as I get all of the money Ill get the address info from Junkie and send it out. I've added a link to on OP start the donations. Lets all come together and make this happen.
 
Im really surprised no one is willing to help get this phone to Junkie. Ive seen other people in other threads for other phones go out of there way to get a phone to a dev.
 
its also a zte lol. there isnt alot of interest and if zte users could afford to throw money around they wouldnt be zte users

but yea if you guys wanna hook me up with a force i will get back to work on the rom, uploading test build after test build just isnt gonna work in my current situation and im too broke to afford a new phone or real internet. if i had one though i can test myself and.put out updates when i come up with something
 
What wifi and bluetooth does the force have.
is it qcom ? if so you would be better off going with 4.2.2 or even 4.3.1
i got qcom wlan and bluetooth both working in 4.2 / 4.3

if you add me as a collaborator on your device tree ill work on it,
 
you are added on the device lol, and the avid managed to get wifi to.work with the same chipset but it wouldnt work for us for some reason, not sure whats up with it. plus if we.move to 4.2 we hit the sd roadblock
 
Bluetooth works for file transfers but not for audio or headset use for phone calls. Dunno if that will help but its all the info I got lol.

Well... all in all, i think its a better choice, no more proprietary qcom shit for bt, plus bluedroid is easier to get going
 
right, we havent gotten it to work right on cm10.1 or 10.2 either though. i only built cm10 myself but mouse when he was still building used 10.1 and 10.2
 
Ok. Bluetooth and wlan are both WCN_3660.

Prima Wifi is open source.

If ya'll can get me a force "laid off from work" i will continue to develop for it.

i have leads as to why, but i cant test, and mouse has been busy and having issues with his pc so its kinda halted without a way to tinker locally

actually. i cant even get a working 4.2 source anymore.
i think iam gonna attempt 4.3.. but like you..i need a force lol

im beginning to understand why pg gets so frustrated. working on a device you dont have access to is like closing your eyes and trying to solve a rubix cube

yes sir.. i can do some things,,, infact i already have.. go look at your github.
but,, yes
we need the force.
all i ask from the community, is they can maybe get me one. and ill dev till it blows up lol
