Really, people are really using it as a daily driver? Maybe its just me but I want all the features of a phone that I pay for to work, I had problems with apps crashing, random reboots, no rear camera, and no video, tried it out for around 1 day and got so frustrated that I went back to stock.

Well like a lot of things it's personal preference as well as for the sake of reporting bugs or similar purposes. Not to mention most of us only have the video and camera not working, personally I can live without those for now and most on here do.

Same here. I pretty much exclusively use my phone for media, so CM sadly isn't an option for me right now.

All we can do is wait and be patient. No use in rushing it.

personnaly i really like the stock rom. my last phone came with icecream sandwich so this is a big step up for me.

I come from Lollipop on an Exhibit so both the stock ROM and CM11 feel really weird to me lol

I have a will using the flashify app on the google play store flash twrp on the Samsung galaxy avant

It will, but it's much easier if you use the "Avant Exploded" app from the play store, you can flash TWRP, CWM, and even back to the stock recovery if you need to for whatever reason.

Just your regular good old AOSP, I personally use Flux theme from the play store but that's just my taste.

Indeed it does. The Play Store listing says CM12.1 theme but it works for CM11. I bought it months ago when I was still on the Exhibit and downloaded it on the Avant when I started using this CM as a daily driver, or close to a daily driver at least.

Definitely, just as fast at getting a lock on as on stock, I don't have any problems with GPS.

From what I've observed myself and from what people have agreed on yeah, that's pretty much it. The only other bug I've noticed is that NFC refuses to turn on without a reboot, but that's hardly that big a deal right now.

Wish I had the technical knowledge to fix it, unfortunately I don't, I hate stock touchwiz.

I have needed to use NFC exactly 0 times... Ever.

This is my first phone with NFC so I use it once in a while, but I realize most people ignore it, if they even know it's there lol
