Just your regular good old AOSP, I personally use Flux theme from the play store but that's just my taste.

Indeed it does. The Play Store listing says CM12.1 theme but it works for CM11. I bought it months ago when I was still on the Exhibit and downloaded it on the Avant when I started using this CM as a daily driver, or close to a daily driver at least.

Definitely, just as fast at getting a lock on as on stock, I don't have any problems with GPS.

From what I've observed myself and from what people have agreed on yeah, that's pretty much it. The only other bug I've noticed is that NFC refuses to turn on without a reboot, but that's hardly that big a deal right now.

Wish I had the technical knowledge to fix it, unfortunately I don't, I hate stock touchwiz.

I have needed to use NFC exactly 0 times... Ever.

This is my first phone with NFC so I use it once in a while, but I realize most people ignore it, if they even know it's there lol

We're not completely without video, MX Player with it's network stream and software decoding options work with a lot of things. And personally I'm used to a phone with H/W decoding broken coming from the Exhibit lol

The file for cm11 is corrupted I believe cause it wouldn't go past 8% when downloading it on the metro pcs avant

The progress bar doesn't go past 8% but it is still downloading. This is a problem with the android forums app. Go to androidforums.com on your web browser and sign in and download it with the web browser.
--edit-- You can see for yourself if you are downloading it from the app just go to your downloads folder with a file manager and you will see that it is still downloading because the file will keep getting bigger until the download finishes.

I may check it out, it looks clean. I'm using OneL+ Grey currently.
