you could make it baseless. just take the files you copied and put them in a flashable that flashes over cm. that way if cm gets updated you dont have to remake it. the end user can just flash it over the new build. make sure you edit the updater script so that it doesnt format /system and it will just overwrite the cm files with paranoid files. then theres not really any dev support needed for paranoid.

Okay, I'll try that next. I was actually thinking it was going to be a pain when CM11 was updated, that solves that. About to try Carbon lol thanks for the help though, I really appreciate it.
Edit: Would the build.prop changes also go in that zip?

yes build.prop needs to go too but you could make it a seperate flashable because some fixes for cm might be in the build.prop then you could just update the build.prop flashable to match the new cm build without updating the whole baseless flashable

I'm glad to see such great progress in this ROM. I'm very much glad to see devs just willingly using their own time for this. Even though I've reverted back to stock (with some mods from the other forum), I think I'll come back over.

Which app did you use to do that? I used few apps and things always went corrupted with keyboards

Are you referring to the CM ROM or the new t-mobile ROM? Because when I tried the t-mobile ROM on my metro Avant I ended up with a carrier locked phone (I had it specifically unlocked before I left the U.S.). However, when I flashed back to the stock metro ROM, the phone was once again unlocked. I'm wondering if it wasn't a change in the MAC address that triggered the lock of my foreign SIM. Hmm...

this is not a finished rom and not intended for daily/mass use yet. im sure once its ready it will be posted in another thread or in the op

Right now they are working on cm11 which is kit Kat 4.4.4
