and then you delete the .o file and edit the .c fiile so that it makes a new .o file and then you type "make"
again instead of "make clean"?

CM 9 mod on low end phones didnt have MTP,music player controls were first only touchwiz feature .
Very few devices have official ICS >_>

most probably clean will remove all the .o files so you dont need to delete the object files manually ...Of course an obfuscator will can assign different script to clean just for gag .....

I restored my gingerbread and now I gotta flash ICS back on to test it........
I cleaned it out completely and rebuilt it just in case, because I kept building it, flashing it on, and results were the same each time so....
