Are you having any fc issues? I thought maybe beautiful widgets were the cause on my phone also running launcherpro.
You may want to check out pure widgets I have three on my phone, calander, music, and mail/messages.. they look great and control the htc programs.

I have not had any issues with NexusMOD 2.0 or "3" the music widget. Perhaps the live wally combined with Sense is slow? I use the N1's launcher 2 from a Cyanogenmod rom cuz I'm not a huge fan of Sense UI.
 
Hey quick question for those of you using Launcher Pro: Is there an easy way to transfer my setup from Sense? I feel like it's going to take a while to set everything up the way I had it. Just figured I would ask. Thanks all

I just did it by hand. Redoing all the folders was a pain but all in all it was more tedious then anything else. If you find a way though please let me know.

I have been using it for a few days now and have not had any FCs. I have the Pure Calendar but I am really looking for a replacement for the day agenda view. This is how I had my Sense UI set up for that screen. Also something similar to the Favorites.

I just found Pure Agenda and will check that out. Still looking for a functioning Favorites replacements that has most of the features. I've tried a bunch that have been lacking to say the least.

Pure Agenda is perfect for what I wanted.

Hey,

So I just added the Favorites widget, is there a way to have the option of calling, texting, or emailing each person. It only gives me the option of doing one and then I'm stuck with it.

Any ideas?

If you start a new group, maybe that would work for assigning a different option, then you could put two of the single rows right beside each other on one page.

Also before on my eris I would just assign the contact card that way i could choose text,call, email etc.. Does the DI have that option?

Maybe it was the combination of lock 2.0 and beautiful widgets that gave me the fc's. I removed beautiful widgets bc it was my last change.

You need to set the default action for each contact. You can set it to Email/Text/Call or View Contact. You'll see a little icon on the picture which shows you how it's setup. You can change the action by long pressing.

I just got a FC with beautiful widgets when I had it in landscape mode and changed the skin. But it was beautiful widgets that FC'd not LauncherPro. So dunno. It didn't crash on me in portrait. Weird.

First of all, thanks for the response.

Long pressing allows me to remove the Favorites as a widget (move it to the trash)

Also I want to be able to choose text, email, call each time I select a person, I dont want to be tied down to one option.

What I did for that situation is go into the persons contact info and chose View Contact Info for default action. Then when you choose that person from your favorites widget, it will open their info and you can select what you want to do. I don't know of a way to create multiple actions for a single person in that widget...doesn't mean it's not possible. I ended up ditching that and going an entirely different route using FolderOrganizer to accomplish what I think you're looking for. But it's not nearly as cool looking.
 
Ok so I was able to select View Contact Info for all of the rest of my favorite contacts, I'll see how I like it but maybe ill give your FolderOrganizer idea an option.. can you explain a little more?

For anyone who wants to change the default setting they chose in Favorites. You have to remove that person from the group (however, you have to go to the group screen and press delete contact from group, you CANNOT go to the contact and edit their groupings... that for some reason doesn't work). Then re-add the person from the group screen.
 
So i switched to launcher pro yesterday and love the layout. It's perfect for my needs. I started playing around with the landscape mode today and unfortunately I got a bunch of fCs and had to go back to sense. Sense isn't too shabby either, but does anyone have any suggestions for making that work with launcher pro? Thanks

What apps gave you the FCs?

I would say that one of your widgets you are using is causing the fc. I've been using launcher pro for some time and the only fc was after loading a new widget. So I installed it and used a different one from the market.

Not really sure. I do have Beautiful Widgets and Pure Calender running. Sounds like one of those may be the culprit. I also tried loading it up again to see if things improved, and the second i turned on Apps Manager i got another fc. If Pure Calender is the issue, i might have to stick with sense for the moment, as I'm using it for both my calender and task list functions- really nice widget imo. Any thoughts? Thanks folks

Is that a gmail widget? And how did you get the cube screen switch?
