Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

Here's my apps.

I do have folder organizer lite...do I need the full version? How do you change the icons with this app? Haven't figured it out yet!

Hopefully this helps - took me some time to figure out:

To change regular icons - long press on the screen, choose shortcut, then BetterCut (or AnyCut - downloaded from mkt), choose "Activity" (at least that's what it's called in BetterCut), choose the activity you want to change the icon-->Change Icon-->Pick from IconPack (again, have to be downloaded from market)

To change the dock icons in LauncherPro, I'm using FolderOrganizer (Lite). First go into FolderOrganizer, choose the application you want to change the icon. Press the right arrow --> change icon. There are default icons here, but can also load from IconPacks acquired from the market. Once this is changed go to home screen. Long press the dock icon you want to change - choose FolderOrganizer Item-->Apps-->go to app you changed in FolderOrganizer-->default icon

Of course there are other apps that can do the same, this is just the one method I'm currently using

Download, unzip, mount phone, drag file to phone, unmount, and use a program like BetterCut or FileOrganizer to apply.

To which folder on the phone do I drag the icon folder? Is it in the SD Card or the Phone memory? I know that only the "emmc" folder in Phone memory comes up when you mount the phone onto the computer.

kristanc, Is your phone rooted? I'm unable to use the droids in the LP dock, it causes it to crash every time I try adding them.

I read through some other posts, it appears you need to have a rooted phone to used the Droids iconpack. But if anyone can confirm that you don't need a rooted phone, please chime in and let us know how to do it.

Thanks!

My phone is not rooted and I'm able to use them everywhere but the dock.

Even though not as cool looking I have found (and made some) of these new black/red icons that actually fit more of a phone theme. I have phone/contacs/google voice/sms/gmail.

Oh and I got rid of the unread gmail and sms widgets and just put on a widget bar that shows unread calls/sms/gmail/talk. Even though I wish the developer would swicth google talk with voice.

I love how those black/red icons look. Where did you get them?

Thanks. Can you give us the details on how you installed the icons? I would greatly appreciate it!

I wan't sure where to put all of the "droids" so I just put them in the camera/picture folder. I then used AppsOrganizer to label the apps that I wanted in each section (like Games or Tools). When using AppOrganizer it gives you the option to create labels and use custom icons, then you can go through and label each app accordingly to group them together. Then long press on a home screen, click "AppsOrganizer" then the label you want on the home screen.

I then downloaded Bettercut to change the icons of the apps that I didn't group together with the AppsOrganizer. You just long press on the home screen, select "shortcuts", then "bettercut", then "activity" then find the app you want, and click "change icon" and select your droid.

If you need more details let me know.

No problem, to change the "label" icon in AppsOrganizer just long press on the label and click "change icon".

I just figured out that it is possible to put any of your AppsOrganizer label groups on the dock even with a phone that isn't rooted. You may get a force close the first time but after that they work without a problem.

Nope, not rooted. This is what worked for me (to add the droids to the dock):
