Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

if you guys are using launcher pro. how are you replacing the phone icon with a custom one? i get a FC everytime i try to do it.
 
Here is my newest setup. I really dig the Droid X look. (if you couldn't tell haha) I even put on the boot animation and keyboard that were just released.

Just an update on the custom icons in the LauncherPro dock on a phone that is not rooted. You do not need Better Cut at all, if you just use the 2.1 Gallery apk Incredible to select the icon it will show up and work on the dock. Just long press on the dock; select "applications"; then select the app you want on the dock; press "custom icon" then "Gallery" (the 2.1 Gallery you just installed); then select your icon.

If your icons do not show up in the gallery you need to find them (I used Astro File Manager) and copy them to a spot where the Gallery will find them (a photo folder). Some icon packs are easier to find than others. I could not find one pack and had to do a backup (as suggested by Waynester) and then I was able to find the icons in the backup folder and then copied them to a photo folder, using Astro.

I hope this helps some people out. If anyone needs further details let me know.

What layout is that? Also what widget at the top? Liking the whole red black. I'm not digging how big the droid X is but I like the way some of the screens look. Black/red facebook icon looks sick.

GenieWidget is the News and Weather widget, the widget on the top of that screen. its what google named it.

i simply took the widget background image from my FeedR widget and pasted it into the APK for the News and Weather widget so they would match. since my Inc is rooted i was able to push the apk to the phone using ADB. this will not be able to be installed on a non rooted phone because the signature is broken. once you go in and edit an APK you break the signature and the app can no longer be installed normally.

i can share the file for anybody who wants it, but unless you're rooted or can figure out how to re-sign the apk then it's useless.

Here's a tool to resign apk's. all the instructions are in the file. it is extremely simple and works perfectly. i was attempting to skin the droid x keyboard but it's a bit to in depth for someone to skin as a first project but i was able to resign and reinstall the skinned keyboard i did.

I'm using LauncherPro with custom icons I made in photoshop. The widget up top is Beautiful Smaller Home from Beautiful Widgets with the red glass theme. If you want the wallpapers from the Droid X file dump, there is a link halfway down this page:
