Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

I still cannot figure out how to take screenshots of my phone. I use a macbook and i've tried the instructions on here as well as another one I searched for. Are there any apps that will allow me to do it via iPhone style?

If you're not rooted, no, no apps will allow it iPhone style. Did you download the Android SDK? It's pretty simple, I'm on a mac and have done it too.

I did DL the android SDK. But I dont understand how to use it, more specifically the command prompt of /.dds(sp?) or some thing like that and the subsequent steps.

there's at least one error in those directions ("Make sure you're up to date with the Java Run Time Envrionment from Sun").
 
Ok, I'm totally in awe of everything that I just looked at. I now feel complete shame when looking at my own phone, I almost want to dis-own it. :p

Killswitch is so awesome. I gotta say my fave album is Alive or just breathing though. The last album with Jesse on vocals.

Did you go by the instructions that were posted on this site? If so... did you follow the directions that were linked to another site?

Installing HTC Incredible Android SDK Drivers |

The SDK software does not have the DINC drivers included, so you have to manually add the code. It's simple, just follow the directions.

thanks for this tip. However, it appears that this is for windows. Unless i'm missing something?
 
Lets say I want to create my own icons, right? Would I have to root my phone in order to do this? And how are people getting the "TEXT ONLY" icons? Also, is the different lock screen apart of Launcher Pro or Launcher Pro Plus?

You can use Folder Organizer to change icons that's what I use. LauncherPro can also change them, but it only sees your images so you'll have to make sure whatever custom icons you get/dnld you need to put them in your images folder/s. The text only icons can be found in the EVO forum and at deviant art website. The custom lock screens that a lot are using is the app WidgetLocker. Hope this helps :-)
 
Ok, so after looking at everyone's amazing themes, I need to get my act together. I can change icons using Better Cut, but how do I change the dock background and icons, LauncherPro?
 
To change the wallpaper (background) press menu -> wallpaper. To change the icons in the dock, long press the icon you want to change
