It's a widget that's included with the weather bug elite app. Haven't messed around with the settings yet. That's just however its set up stock. I did bump up the refresh rate to 6 hours cause you can just refresh right on the widget. Which is very cool.

Hmmm i have weatherbug elite however i dont have that. or cant find it....

I need to tweak my custom LP Icons - they are almost too small to read on the phone

EDIT: New icons - easier for my old eyes to read :)

Sweet! Isn't this ROM awesome can't believe how stable it is :cool: I'm lovin' it! I've just recently found out when you get a text or a missed call you can tap and hold the corresponding icon on the lockscreen and it shows you the info with out unlocking for a quick glance! There are also little orange tickers showing you how many missed calls/txts you have. You can also swipe the txt icon and it brings you immediately into txt and the same with the phone, brilliant! I'm continually impressed with these touches. It's a nice change from widgets all over my screens. Setup is same as I posted above :-)

Yeah it's nice - I switched back to Launcher Pro because I didn't want to deal with having to sort my apps in to various folders - I do miss the Facebook integration though (can't add FB account) and there's no LED flashlight (market has those) the lock screen wallpapers are cool - and the quick view text icon thingy is too. Too bad IncredibleDoes is having such a hard time with the next release version - hopefully he'll have one out in the next day or so.
 
Heres mine, nothing that hasn't been done before:
cm6, with glass-cyan theme, fancy widget, and sense dock on lpp (i like the look of sense, but don't like sense itself)

EDIT: MIUI ROM with stock kernel using setcpu with a screen off profile. Battery meter at top green line a mod within the MIUI ROM. Smooth Calender widget on main screen. 1 widget in total how about them apples! :-)

I've read threads on that particular ROM, how did you understand some of it? Are some of the features not in Chinese? If not, how and where did you get that specific one, i'm curious to try it.

IncredibleDoes (and others) have done an excellent job of making this work on our phones - check out his thread on xda

[ROM] IncDoes MIUI - "Complete UI Overhaul" [v0.2] sep/22nd - xda-developers

and for the most part - with the English patch most of the Chinese is gone..

I'm running this ROM currently and I love it

Hey there ;)

There is an english.zip where it takes about 95% of the Chinese and converts it to English. It's on the XDA forums HERE you want to use the:

English Pack 1 - MIUI deodexed ROM v0.9.20 ONLY

You want the .2 version (what I got) of the ROM. A search over at XDA will yield positive results.


 
Thanks Argent and jbdan!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna have to give this a try since Uncommon didn't do anything for me, it is really plain and I could not get Flash 10.1 to work on it

So do I flash the language package over the ROM?

This is what I did...reboot into recovery/wipe/wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache/flash MIUI/boot and set up. Reboot and flash english .zip and your done. :)

I'm on 77 worked fine.
 
Have searched and searched but am coming up empty. How do you resize the text icons. Eveytime I put them on my phone, they are tiny. I have LP+ and Desktop Visualizer. Thanks-

not familiar with those icons or how big/small they are but you could try using Desktop Visualizer to make larger 'icons' with it's custom widget sizes - or Launcher Pro Plus offers a resize option as well

Cool. I've been messing with both programs, but can't find the resize option with LP+. Also have no idea how to make the icons bigger with DV. Any help is appreciated. Thanks-
