Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

Here are mine, sorry there pretty plain. Have recently been readind about rooting and have downloaded all the files and installed them. Will give it a go this weekend.

Love the wallpaper thx for posting and welcome here to the forums!

I posted this in one or two other threads already, but might as well post it here, too...

First thing: start with a clean slate:

1. Open the "WidgetLocker" app.
2. Press "Look & Feel".
3. Press "Slider & Layout".
4. Press "No Slider".

Then follow these steps:

Of course you can just switch which side has the "No Action". The only drawback to doing the sliders this way
is that no other widget or icon can go next to the slider. WidgetLocker still sees that entire row as a widget even
though the slider is only on one side.

Hope this helps.
thank you! that was reall indepth i just downloaded that last week, and ive loved it so far very useful you guys on here are so much help!

Looks good. One thing; please post your apps and widgets being used per instructions by the Op.

Oh, and welcome!

Just reloaded latest miui rom after UD for 2 days. UD is really nice for those wanting to try a super fast aosp rom. I'm using dsktop visualizer, digi-clock widget, and LP+ with eclipse2 icons from deviant art. I can't seem to get away form simpler layouts I'm also using folder organizer here and have gotten my app drawer to one screen no scrolling.

Does anyone have the issue with widgetlocker where you slide the froyo lock to unlock, but then the stock HTC sense lock comes up after that?

Did you update recently to the newer version? i noticed this happening after I updated the app. I went back to the older version yesterday and no problems since! =)

So, I noticed this same problem after I did the update yesterday. I thought that I had fixed the problem by doing the following:

1. Open the WidgetLocker app.
2. Press [MENU].
3. Press [Settings].
4. Press [Behavior].
5. Press [Select System Home].
6. In the "Complete action by using" box, check the "Use by default for this action" box and then select your home app (LauncherPro or other if you're using it; WL HomeHelper if you're still using Sense - or you can select Sense, too, if you don't want a delay between scrolling home screens).

This worked through today but, as if my phone knew, the Sense lock screen did come up when I unlocked my phone just ten minutes ago. I set this setting again and it seems to work fine now.

Maybe it's resetting itself for some reason? If it is a recurring problem, I'm sure Kevin is on top of it already.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! This helps a lot!

*EDIT*

So I told my phone that the home button should use widgetlocker as its primary function so the lock screen works properly, and now when I'm at my home screen and hit the home button to jump to another screen, the action is delayed for like 2 seconds. Anyone else notice this?

CarbineGuy:

Yeah, this is what I meant when I wrote: "...WL HomeHelper if you're still using Sense - or you can select Sense, too, if you don't want a delay between scrolling home screens".

HomeHelper does this. When I originally started using WidgetLocker, I just kept Sense as my home setting. It got rid of the lag between screens, but made for the 5-second rule: when you press home->turn off the screen->then turn on the screen within 5-seconds WidgetLocker doesn't activate before the old system lock screen does. I though this was a good trade off.

Right now I'm using LauncherPro- have it set as my home- and have very little problems. Basically, there is almost nothing perfect to replace the original software without the system kind of "claiming its territory". You just have to live with the quirks to have something different than stock- rooted or not.

Anyway, if you want the lag between homescreen swipes to go away, don't use the HomeHelper. Set another home in the settings... it should solve that problem.

What about when the original lock runs behind the widgetlocker lock? This happens even after the screen has been off for 5 seconds or more occasionally.

I think I'm finally happy with my layout except I'm sick of these icons but I cant find anything else that I like.

stock 2.2 :
I still have a few folders to add icons to, but it's pretty much complete. I was going for a simple and easy on the eyes minimalist theme. The icons all have dropped shadows, so they work on white backgrounds too. If you want them, just shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a zip.

App icons are a mix of ones I found on the web and ones I made myself. I used a free online image editor called Pixlr to make all my icons ... http://pixlr.com/editor I used Folder Organizer Lite to change the default icons and text. I just noticed that I can use the widget function to get rid of the text. So, I'll post some pictures without text once I have time to implement that.

The day of the week app is OneSeven by Cryclops.
The weather app is Weather Forecast Widget by Francois.
The page titles were created using Simple Text Widget by hongS.
The power app is Free Power Widget by BK Mobility.
The contacts app is the default HTC People widget.
