Karma is a powerful thing....you dont necessarily get rewarded for doing what you should, but it will always catch up to you if you live like a sh*tbag:eek:

Back in my younger scumbag years i would have kept it and sold it off to someone. I'm talking before i was 18. Now that im 31 i would make it my mission to find and make sure the person that owns it gets it back. Found a phone in the street awhile back just hit the call button and called the last person on the list. It was the guys sister. I said hey found this phone in the street he came outside and got it. Did not seem to care that i spent 15 mins trying to find out where he was. But owell he got his phone back. I did tell him (15 yr old) look man if you ever find anyones crap remember me and that gave your stuff back. So maybe that will be one less scumbag.

"Screw you, buddy. It's mine now!"

Dude, I'm sorry you lost your phone, but what do you think anyone who opens this thread is gonna say (write)- especially after having read about your ordeal in the other thread?
Nobody here would be that much of an asshole as to admit they would keep a Droid they found! But in no way what so ever is this poll is an accurate reflection of what the majority of folks out in the world would actually do in that scenerio.
In other words, of course we would all turn in a Droid- We're all Droid enthusiasts! We would best be able to imagine the feeling of loss. But let's face reality; the world is full of scumbags.
Your Droid needs to be replaced.

Say what you want but I would definitely keep it :D even though I am a Droid enthusiasts.

I've found phones before. Each time I found a number in the address book I could call and inform them that I found it, and asked if they would like to meet somewhere so I could give it back, or drop it off somewhere that they could pick it up. If I found a Droid, I'd do my best to return it.

I would deffinatly try to return the phone. Being Droidless totally sucks lol. I have found several phones, and have always been able to return them to their owners.

It makes me happy to see alot of people would return it.. Just everyone would actually honor what they say.. I mean its been said once before but, what people say and what people do is 2 totally different things.
true story ... but i remember when i was in high school camping with my family i found a wallet in about 8 ft of water. Took it ashore and searched for an ID. While waiting for a call back my dad and I emptied the contents and dried it all out for the owner to prevent further paper damage. Put it all back together and took it over to the owner as soon as he called. Turned out to be a just graduated college student who lost it fishing that day. He counted it right in front me, over $1200 cash. Tipped me $40 for bringing it back to him :) ... so yes, i would return a droid if i found it!

This is why you use a remote tracking app. I agree w/ Psychokitty. A lot of people will try to pocket it or sell it. Your avg Joe on the street isn't going to have a clue about tracking apps or Android in general.
