Yes and No, but mainly no. If you know what phone the person has, and see a custom ROM, they are obviously rooted. But there are custom ROMs that look like stock ones (Skyraider Sense for example). There also might be a root only app (Titanium Backup, Superuser, etc) icon that you see, therefore they would be rooted.

However, if you don't see these, you aren't able to tell

How were you able to get the city to show on the lower left hand side along with the date on the top right and hi/lo and temp on bottom right on your beautiful widgets smaller home?

My smaller home beautiful widget only shows me date on the bottom left along with temp and hi/lo on top right...Wondering if there is a setting i'm missing or did you custom tweak beautiful widgets.
 
I wondered how long it would take before someone put a full on naked chick on their phone. I guess pr0n shots won't be far off. SMH

I'm using beautiful widgets smaller home as well and mine shows up exactly the same as above. Date on top right and City on bottom left below time. I haven't got any special settings or custom tweaks. Have you tried downloading the latest version?

In the settings>home settings>set location I click use "geo location", I also changed the weather skin to "Andromeda" or something along those lines. I hope that helps, that's the only thing i have done to change what that information says. The geo location setting tracks what city i am in and changes accordingly.

It might also be the skin you are using, some of them don't allow much room to put that kind of info on there, I know i used one for a while that didn't have it there. Try a couple of different ones and see if it pops up there.

You know people were doing it for a while, I think it was really only a matter of time before they showed up here.
Though i'm not complaining or condemning, I myself had a beautiful picture of my wife on mine for a while, not nude but exotically close to it. Granted I won't be posting that one here ;)
