Root LexLite Gingeraid 4.5 (596)

I'm currently running Froyo 2.3.340.MB810. Can LexLite Gingeraid 4.5 (596) be installed on to that version of Android? Or do I need another version of gingerbread on my Droid X prior to LexLite Gingeraid 4.5 (596)?

You need to upgrade to gingerbreak by installing the step patch found here. Make sure you follow the directions carefully!!!
