Root LFY 1.7 available in ROM Manager

Not all apps are showing in the market for me.

edit: also heating up very quickly, though, I'm using the built in overclocking feature right now.

Mine heated up pretty hot when I was loading and themeing but it has cooled right down and is now at idle and 64 degrees which is a the lowest idle temp I have had. Seems fast and responsive, we'll see how the battery life is but as if right now it is a weeeener!

Are you using Setcpu or just letting the ROM handle the CPU speed?

I am using set cpu mainly because I like to control the max speed when it is charging. I found it can get hot if you are over clocked running navigation and pandora while charging in the car.
I use interactive on all the settings but will scale it back as the battery goes down.

I must say between this rom, chevy's, UD8, and Charity there are some great options out there. We are a lucky bunch here on the droid forum.

Mine is getting a little hot a little too quick also. How about you GirL? Any heat issues?

Can you tell me what weather app are you using?

No, not at all. Heat may spike when I'm doing something resource-heavy, but it comes right back down. It's idling at very low temps.

You are correct it will spike up (maybe a bit faster than I am used to) but it idles so darn cool. It idles at room temp which is about 10 degrees cooler than UD8 on my phone and about 5degrees cooler than Charity or anything else. Really amazing. I just flashed the 1100 kernel you have been running and it just flat out smokes. Mid 16s for quadrant if that means anything.

Just installed and put the Invertino theme and 1000ghz kernel on it and I boot up and I can't even click the little android to register my email...i get a constant FC of the Dialer app...any help?

Did you wipe data and cache from Clockworkmod recovery before installing the ROM?

im gonna give this rom a go. i liked 1.5 but 1.4 and 1.6 ran my phont too hot. i hope i can run this one.

Try installing the ROM (which has a default 1000 kernel) without the theme first and see if you have this problem. Assuming you don't, then install the theme. If you get the problem again, you'll know it's a theme issue.

NEW edit!: got it working, just installed stock ROM first, then signed in, THEN installed theme...no problems now

I completely agree! There are now many great running ROM's to choose from! We are most definitely lucky! Thank you for LFY 1.7, and Thank you to all who have created these ROM's for us!
