Root LG Ally Flash Compatibility List

Since there is now Flash 10.1 for Arm6 devices (e.g. Ally) tigersfan1 and I thought it would be nice to have a list of sites that work and don't work.

Just leave replies with what you've found that works and what doesn't work and I will add it to the list. Please put what browser you're using too.

Tbs.com videos works for the stock browser and NOT dolphin mini

I disabled stagefright and it cleared up some of the flash videos and played a few more videos with the stock browser?

Albinoblack sheep would never play in swf or would say not suppported now plays flawlessly every video I tried worked. Espn video works almost some hd videos suck and lag but its still cool we kinda have flash on this phone now

I dont know if you know this but this isnt even an official flash so big sites like hulu are most likely not gonna work for right now. Why dont you download flash and try it yourself.

Will do. I think I'd also have to trick it into thinking my phone is a desktop pc. Probably won't work but its worth a shot.

Dolphin has a built in user agent switcher, but there is more to it. Hulu also reads your flash version and will not run on android.

To get around this, I used a hex editor to edit the libflashplayer.so file and change the version from "AND" to "WIN".

Now, I select a video and get the "loading" circle animation...but then just as the first frame starts to play, the browser crashes.

This happens in dolphin mini, HD, and stock browser.

So, we can get around hulu's blocking efforts but there is something in the hardware or flash software that crashes the browser.
