I did see one report on a website that it does have a removable battery. So who knows what final product we are gonna get. I wonder when this will launch though. Most sites felt it would be pretty soon since it obviously is ready to go just about.

I hope you are right about the removable battery. I have just had to pull the battery on my Droid X when it hung on a calendar app I was trying out. And I have pulled the Ally battery more times than I can count. With today's technology level having a non-removable battery is insane.

Exactly. This will also make developing ROM's, etc for the device even more of a PITA.

Perhaps that is their lame attempt at preventing custom ROM installation.
