Root LG Connect wonnt bootup MS840

I got my new phone the other day and put an old rom on it and now I can't
get it back to an MS840V. It says MS840 is there any way to get it changed /
When I use the update too. the MS840V is there but it keeps going to the MS840 is there some where I can change it to make it take it ?

P.S. I have one MS840 that I screwed up and is dead if anyone wants it
It's blacklisted on there end but other than that I dont know .

I have the new file to update my phone but when I go in to CWM it wont work .

Or are you saying you want to go back to the original ROM it was running before you flashed a new rom?
