Yea like said do not flash anything that not for your phone in ROM Manager. A CWM for the Esteem isnt available 'yet' but is being worked on nd a post will be made when available and instructions on how to install it until it get officially built and merged into RM.

I have seen all too many times where ppl flash the wrong stuff in RM and then blame RM for bricking their phone with RM had nothing to do with it. ;)
 
I Just always blamed ^^^^^^That guy^^^^^^^ when my Ascend would mess up. :eek::D;):):rolleyes::cool::p

since were on the subject of rom manager and cwm, can i flash all these themes , icons , and boots with ram since I've made a backup . i understand some may not work. also with themes, can i try out any theme that matches my lg esteems screen resolution and type?


also, what is the lg. esteems resolution and type? (type as in: hgva, VGA, etc)


thank you in advance guys. I've been hesistant to use rom tool box to do anything other than overclocking lol.

yeah you can try changing icons and themes, make sure you get the same framework and systemui for your phone. try out uot kitecn and make some mods according to your preferred looks. you could flash the work through cwr as well.

the screen resolution of the esteem is 400x800 and its classified as hdpi.
 
You can't flash themes for other phones. Won't work. You'll just boot loop. Before SPC came here I flashed his Fusion theme for the Revolution and just boot looped. If you swap out the systemHi and Framework you'll just mess up the theme and have bits and pieces of the theme...if that.
 
I'm going to try UOT KITCHEN. in the mean time , are there any basic no nos for from manager. i really just want to flash the Red lg theme on with rom manager but i have no clue how.

currently rom manager will not work with the esteem.
