LG Esteem dock. it looks great

I bought it and you're right it does not charge them both at the same time. You just need to time the charging so that your spare is fully charged before you plug in your phone. I do like using it to have my phone as a desk clock.

Does it charge the battery after the phone is fully charged?
 
Yep its nice, I just wish it worked with at least a slender TPU Gel phone case. Would buy it but don't like the idea of removing my case on and off to use it. :(

You are right LatinHeat. removing the case out of any cellphone and placing it in a table is always a risky move.
 
can you remove the usb port cover, I hate that thing. I mean and be able to put it back if i got to sell it lol...

I mean you'd have to with the dock no? it's just such a pain in the ass

think i saw another pic where the connector is sticking out a good bit to accommodate the cover when its pushed to the side so it should be ok with the cover still on....
 
The phone with the extended battery fits in the dock without prbblems!
I have extended battery and I tried the dock today in one of MetroPCS stores. Also, the phone automatically switches to a clock mode when inserted in the dock. I was very impressed. The only issue in store it costs $60, so better to buy somevere else.
 
at least you get a spare regular battery with the cost. Also I think it automatically runs Deskhome when you insert your phone, clock, media center thingy...dunno much about it...I froze it :)
 
You can get the LG charging dock with an extra battery included from Verizon for 49.00. It is for the LG Revolution, it uses the same battery.

Check out Deskhome in your app drawer. When you run it it starts up and will show you a clock, but you can flick through to other screens with your pics, music, videos etc, so I guess that is why it is multimedia....
 
Yes. When you tap the screen the music player comes up. I also am annoyed by the doors on the charge port and hdmi port but believe removing them is permanent and they can't be put back on.
 
Did anyone actually buy the OEM LG Multimedia Charging Dock for LG Revolution VS910 Model LG EAY62410501? If so will LG Esteem with extended battery 3000mah fit in dock?

I have seen these on different websites. I have also read and watched reviews. There is only 1 person (Rob) on Amazon that comments that it does accomodate Revolution with extended battery. I have contacted sellers and they say NO it doesnt. Now....
Does anyone have a guaranteed answer?
***I went to MPCS today and the item #EAY62410501 Charging dock DOES accomodate the phone w/extended battery. I tried it myself. $63.58 too much for my blood. I did order from Amazon BlueMall for $31.93
