Root Lg esteem help,,!

i need help with my phone it wont start up just shows lg logo them a black screen then lg logo then shuts off and turns back on idk! :(
 
pull the battery. when the lg symbol comes back on, press both power buttons. that will take you to factory reset. push the power button until it resets & it should bring everything back.
 
LOL, don't worry, I'm not laughing at you. I was in the same situation myself when I started out. I see that you're in a few other threads also. Go back to the one with gbiggie on it & I can guarantee he can help you better. Just follow what he tells you & you'll be up & running in no time. Good luck.

pull the battery and restart when you push the power hold the up and down volume buttons until you get a vibration keep holding it until you see factory reset screen then hit power twice with 2 seconds in between pushing power then you get to recovery..if you can get there look for backup and restore hit the power and find your backup and restore.

pull the battery then put it back in and hold the volume up and down make sure you are holding them both and hit power until the phone vibrates.. once you get to there let me know once there hit power 2 times with 2 seconds in between pushing power so it will be like hit power wait wait wait then hit it again wait.... then you will see cm recovery

KEEP HOLDING UP AND DOWN VOLUME BUTTONS UNTIL YOU SEE THE FACTORY RESET

im new ,, idk what im doing so remove the bat. then put it back in then hold power an vol buttons until i see a factory reset screen??

ok first remove the battery...then replace it..before you do anything hold the up down volume buttons then push and release power hold until you see factory reset... let me know if you can get there.. if you push the power button it will not factory reset i promise... once you are there you will see a list look for backup and restore

no it will not you will get recovery when you flashed clockmod you removed the factory reset

at that screen push power twice..believe me i was in your place 2 months ago and did the same thing as you..
