get winrar is free open rom search for system/app make sure to grab the poweroff.apk from any other rom and just draged to you system/app is going to take like a minute or more to load dont worry will be fine. u just updated yourself never have to do it again. work for me so will works for u

Should this be flashed over #2 rom? Just asking. Or is this a stand alone rom that can be flashed after wiping data?
I would do a full wipe this is a different rom

go to setting about phone and check android version 2.3.6 if u flashed it

yeah it's def not 2.3.6, false advertising.. only way to get 2.3.6 is compiling the latest build from source (assuming after adding metro repositories that it actually works.., doubtful) and the other thing i noticed is there is still 2 launchers in the system... lg deluxe (just a generic version of adw) and lghome2, which is actually working and a good update tot he original lghome..
sorry if it sounds like im being negative lol, i like the rom great work eversleyd, but just a few silly additions to clean up and you in good shape
,my first suggestion would be change ur build.prop back to 2.3.4 (unless you actually compiled this from source)
also choose a launcher.. lol 1 or the other? deluxe or home2
o and the "home_selector.apk" is literally the most useless app i ever seen lol so you can probly remove that too if ya like? lol
and the spare parts & devtools are kinda useless.. not sure if people actually use them or not but they're really more for froyo than gb lol jus sayin...
other than that i have 0 complaints about the rom, im sure the less confused the system is, the better it will run
