I have a LG Esteem and a LG Connect, I got up this morning and turned them on at the same time, then that night i looked at the battery usage on them the Connect showed 16hrs 45min and the Esteem showed 12hrs and 35min, so what's up with that? you would think that they would show the same amount of time? Can someone give me an answer for this?

Dont want to state the obvious but it's 2 different phones. One has a bigger screen. That's obviously going to take more juice to power. Then you have to factor in usage. Unless they both were on for the "same" amount of time all day, making that comparison is trivial and incorrect.

2 Esteem or 2 Connects with drastically different battery usuage with similar phone usage would be strange.

I personally get 20hrs plus on my Esteem with standard stock battery.

Fuzzy,if yu get 20 hours please tell me how?????

what i'm saying is if you turn on two phones at the same time and turn them off at the same time they should have the same amount of usage on them. I even know that they want have the same battery usage, just the fact that they are turned on at the same time then they should show the same amount of time on them, It was just an observation..... no big deal...

No phones are created equal.. you could turn on two esteem's or connects or an s3.. they will die out different..

Isn't the question more about time rather than battery life? So if they came on at the same time they should both have 16 hours on the battery info instead of one having 12 and one 16. yay or nay?

I think its the way the phone handles battery drain. Does having dual core make a difference in battery life?

The way the s3 proccesor is set up in the connect it shouldn't make a major difference since the 2nd core isnt always on, the 2x size of ram likely makes more of a difference
