I was going to try to upload my collection of about 3,000 songs but, doing it on 3mb DSL connection just wasn't going to cut it. I do have some music that I listen to the most on my sd card so I'm not to worried about it. :D

i was bored waiting for 250 songs to finish uploading on a 16mb connection. you would mosst likely have to leave it upload all night for 3000

I have been watching videos on the galaxy nexus and that phone has the 4s beat in everything. Damn retina display is crap compared to the nexus 720p screen

We all have weird thoughts at night, crazy things at first, like:

Yeahhh uhh dude theres women and kids on this forum.... Not only that alot of people probably rather not see that on a forum about android phones and its most likely against AF rules....The thread was made more geared towards off topic things like related more to phones and to shoot the breeze....Not......that.....Might wanna out of respect for other edit that to a different topic...

Doesnt the Evo 4g screen only display 65,000 colors (16 bit) and the Esteems over 260,000 colors (18bit)?

No, that's a popular misconception thanks to an error on the HTC web.

One of our video professionals make a youtube to prove and then posted all of the test pattern pics that would let you count the color bands to see for yourself deep your color was - the Evo is and always was an 18-bit display.

The back story is that some idiot noticed that the Android photo gallery in 2.1 and 2.2 defaulted to 16 bit color no matter what - until you zoomed an image.

Flame wars erupted across the forums while everyone with 16 bit galleries insisted their phones were superior when they were pretty much all equal.

All because of a web specification error.

Also - over the life of the product, the Evo had something like 3 different screen providers, and 4 different touchscreens - so if you've seen an Evo that your phone beat you're right and if you've seen an Evo that beats your phone, you're right - with 12 possible combinations, something like 7 in actual practice, it's impossible to know by talking whether folks are comparing the Evo(1) or the Evo(7) when discussing screens.

It's all ancient history tho. I really just stopped by to say hi to old friends and enforce some rules. ;) :)

Nice thanks for the break down and the clarification.
