Root Lg f60 metro pcs

Whoo Root!!! Got my f60 rooted, new font installed, all cores online, n a nice new boot animation. Thank you to all the amazing developers who worked so hard to help us unleash the full potential of this amazing device!!!
 
I tried ten times at first with files from xda with no luck, then tried Noobified's zip and presto rooto on first try even though files look identical. So does this phone have Morning call,can i use freedom kernal? Thanks to whomever accomplished root.

Very cool! Somehow I was able to follow written instructions to root my F60 but with my old LG Motion I had to watch a youtube tutorial to figure it out.

This isn't an exploit. It's a manual push method and to interact with download mode same way you would restore you phone with a kdz you need a computer. There's no way to interact with download mode from a booted phone. If someone does finish the exploit I mentioned earlier that can too get you root but it won't be related to the method that the guy posted. I'm taking no credit for it I just wrote a guide on how I got it working.
 
I'm a noobie with a question. Fortunately I was able to root and install twrp with flashfy app. Down the road if I brick my phone, how can I recover? Is there button combo on the f60 for twrp? what is fastboot? thank you.

No ideas from the smart people why I and at least one other person are experiencing phones locking up when trying to shut down and vastly increased battery drain after rooting?

Did you just root your phone or did you also flash twrp?

I asked because I only rooted my F60 and the battery drain seems normal. Maybe flashing twrp is the culprit here? I'm sorry I'm not more help. I'm not familiar with flashing twrp as all I really wanted was root. Too scared to try anything more than that.:p
 
I've flashed twrp on numerous phones and tablets and never had an issue. This is the first time a rooting has gone bad and I'm hoping someone has an idea how to solve this so I don't have to replace what was a great phone.
