Root Lg f60 metro pcs

I have tried doing that but the boot animation still persists i have done the factory reset but it doesn't get rid of the animation.

You gonna have to do factory reset.. N start from scratch. Sorry... Unless noobifie has a different option
Why would a factory reset touch the system partition? Only data is touched and bootanimation are zips in the system/media directory.

There may be a way to install twrp via download mode. There's a XDA link on the root section with a title about recovery, the method is a little similar to rooting.

I had similar issues what I did was first try rebooting and turning data on and off from setting menu. When that did not work I did a new install wiping dalvik and cache as usual and it was working. Try reinstalling and when turning it on be patient don't click repeatedly.
Still didn't worked. I've tried flashing the ROM just by itself afterward then select the correct APN, toggled the data (patiently...), still data doesn't work.

So is there a way to UN root my MS395 and start over? Rooted with TWRP but, since then I can't move apps to my ext SD Card. Get a warning/error message. Any idea's? Screenshot_2015-03-21-17-56-18.png

App2sd doesn't work, your gonna have to repartition the SD card so that either link2sd or a similar app can link apps you've selected into the SD card.

Horrible excuse to unroot by the way.

Best answer I've gotten. I am a noob. I thought I did something wrong when rooting or flashing TWRP because I was able to move apps with Appmaster to the ext sd on a Galaxy Light, but I know it's not the same phone.. Anyway you are saying this it how it is with this phone and nothing to worry about.? Everything else works fine.
Thanks for the info

Ya must wipe cache/ dalvik cache/ format system, data then flash set ur APN make sure its no misspellings... And set them as IPV4 .. Go to dial. *#*#4636#*#* set radio to gsm.prl.auto

This is what I had to do to make it work just change the APN protocols to ipv6 and bearer to lte

I love it. One issue I did notice its extremely fast but sometimes gets too ahead of itself and systemui crashes or device reboots. For example installing more than 10 applications all at once or just not closing app windows. Other than that smooth. Cellular works, data works fast lte and what's even better is my old stock os would disconnect me from cellular towers every hour and that would cause dropped calls but so far no dropped calls. 5 Stars! :)
How did you get data to work? It only gave me the option for wifi and when i clicked skip i got a warning sayong i wouldnt recieve updates or be connected to the internet. Then when I tried toggling mobile data on/off it wouldnt stay. My signal bars also had an ! symbol

I had same problem and what I did was,
1. Re-install CM or Rom
2. Go to Settings (Not the one that you pull down from screen but the actual settings app.)
3. Click "Mobile Network" (Do not toggle does not work from here.)
4. Turn on Data Roaming
5. Preferred network type toggle LTE.
6. APN select 1st one "fast.metropcs.com" or Metro Pcs LTE
7. Select Network Operators Search Auto or Manually until it registers in network
&
8. Optional Under Settings>Data usage
Make sure Data Connection is toggled on.

Those are the steps I took and that's how I got Data working and the Hotspot was working also too after that.

I tried this still no dice. Could it be something with the apn settings. When i search network operators i get an error every time. The steps i took were 1. Reinstall rom. 2 setting app. 3. Mobile Network 4. Data roaming on. 5. Toggle network type lte. 6. Apn metro pcs. 7. Network operator, search network. Error, network could not be found. If i hit search automatically. I get "registered to network". 8. Data usage, data on. Still nothing even after reboot.

Did you try different APN protocols change them to different ipv's

Should i reboot after each change or would it be automatic. If ne one is running this rom with mobile data working, would it be possible for you to post your exact settings?this is my only phone so without data i have to keep going back and forth between roms every time i have a new question or it doesnt work. Also just realized i think when i flash the rom, i lose root as certain apps that work with root now say need root or root required such as Reboot Recovery and certain features in 3C toolbox. I can still reboot to twrp through terminal with " reboot recovery" command.
