I too like the stock UI from LG. This phone has ran far better than any phone I have had in the past.

I would rather wait for a polished 4.4 LG UI mid next year than something quickly rolled out for early 2014.

Will you guys stop posting these things? We've had 2 threads stating "g2 will not get an update to 4.4", and its just not true.

Remember the titles of these threads come up in Google and it misleads people.

The truth is, the G2 will very likely get an update. Nobody can tell you when, just wait. That's all you can do.

No i just wanted to explain to people why the amazing Galaxy S4 is such an incredibly powerful and versatile phone. The best thing about S4 is that the buttons are not on the back.

No update at least until next year. This sucks.

Truth be told I'd rather wait for a good stable release than see them rush it just so it's released early.

I second that and that's talking from experience, although not with LG:
My experience of Samsung's update to 4.1.2 of my old GS3 has been less than stellar and the 4.3 they recently pushed in the UK has caused widespread issues and has been pulled. Updates are not necessarily good news.
