Help LG G3 Microphone and Speaker issues

I just resolved this on my LG G3. If you have your phone on silent and you try to go to speakerphone on a call, a glitch in the software keeps your phone mute. So the only way to prevent this is to take your phone off mute, and then make your call. I also disabled my voice enhancement too but I don't think that will make a difference.

I figured this out by unmuting my phone and making a voice call. When you put the speakerphone on and tap the volume button, it doesn't let you go all the way down to silent, however, when the phone is in silent and you make voice call, hitting the volume button on speakerphone doesn't adjust volume. LG needs to come up with an update/patch to fix this problem.

Hope that helps,

WELCOME TO ANDROID FORUMS lechi416 !
Glad you were able to find a work-around for the Microphone/Speaker issues you're having.
I haven't had this phone, other than a brief 1 week period & can't recall if this was something that affected others.
Being that there are several model numbers of the otherwise same device,it wouldn't hurt to notify LG of the issue with your device, perhaps they'll include a patch/fix along with one of their security updates.

Could you provide us with the model number/Android version/build number/etc... of your device? (less personal identifying information)
Perhaps someone here can offer a solution that's a bit more permanent than the work-around you're using.

Searched this Low volume in call a lot and found no answer. Then tried uninstalling all apps that had anything to do with volume.
In call audio is ok now after reboot.

Could you give me some specifics on how to find the Google or Google now and then settings area on my phone? I'm having the same issue with speaker phone but don't understand how to get to where you and sherry are saying to fix the problem. Thanks so much!
I went into settings on the phone
Then click on call
Then see if noise suppression is enabled
If it is uncheck it
That's how I fixed my issue.

I had my g3 replaced twice once for this issue once for a different one. Turning off google voice from any screen solved it for the most part. Although the call quality still isn't great.
