Help lg optimis m unlock question

So I was wondering wether or not I can unlock my optimus m for virgin mobile service, I love their $25 plan, and am sick of metro amd can't get sprint till I get my job. I've googled it and found nothing, so I was wondering if it was possible.

unfortunately no Virgin Mobile will not be able to put your esn on their system, they do however have the optimus V and the moto triumph so they do have good phones you could go to.

on the lg, cant you go through the service menu and just switch the networks because virgin doesnt use sim cards?

each phone has a unique identification number, the esn if that number is not listed in the carrier database the phone will NOT even be able to connect to the carrier's service.
