Lg Spirit or Lg Motion?

One other major thing you guys forgot to add ia that the spirit has a way better display and i dont just mean the size. For example if you hold an iphone 3gs and an iphone 4 next to eachother you are going to want the iPhone 4 because of the higher resolution. i had the motion then bought the spirit and gave the motion to my girlfriend. Both are good phones i just have big handa and love HD. Lol

:eviltongue:suuuuuure brag about your big hands!! lol

I think whats great about the spirit is even though it has a larger screen which on most phones makes it difficult to use one handed, on the Spirit with it being so thin, its easier to handle
 
This might be a little late reply, but as a Motion owner, I will say Motion is great, but the bigger screen of Spirit is a great plus.

If compact size is a great concern, then go for the Motion. But if web browsing is a major point for you, then go for a slightly bulkier Spirit. Motion isn't bad (im typing it on Motion right now, viewing the Desktop version and its fine), but with screens and resolution, the more is better.

As for the battery, both phones have aftermarket oversized batteries (3500 mah) for pretty cheap. Just make sure to fully charge and slightly overcharge the battery during the initial use, and it will serve you well.
 
As an end user i'd have to say both phones are an excellent choice.
Both devices are great and the only praticality to be concern with is your
personal situation. they both are great phones.
i'd say if your work for a living that intales physical sitiuations i'd go with the motion.
if you are not in a physical situation go with the spirit.
Both phones are really great its just If your going to use it at work thats
tough on your phones go motion.
Either way you do go make sure you get a case, and if you do choose the spirit get the insurance.
I have both phones and that was the deciding factor for me .
 
The power button is on the right side , charging port is on the bottom it has a quick memo button in between the volume rockers the battery life is better , the screen size and resolution is better . The speaker is louder , easily theme able right out the box . I think you can wireless charge it , the camera seems a little different . The Bluetooth is 2.0 causing me some minor issues and the internal storage is 1 GB less . I can play modern combat 4 with both phones really smooth . Even if I have a text , I'll reply and jump right back on it while playing music too with no lag . It comes with a nice keyboard . It comes with a task killer ( don't really know if it works never tried it ) Well I think all we really care about is the wifi hot spot and since they both have it you can't go wrong
 
I've owned both and I would say that if you have the extra coin, get the LG Spirit.

If not, go with the LG Motion which is also a great device, but the screen is smaller.

Other than that, they are basically the same phone.

BTW, I have a barely used, near-mint Motion for sale. PM me if interested.

My Verizon contract is up very soon. I am going to make the switch to Metro PCS. Herein lies my problem. I am torn between the Lg Spirit and the Lg Motion. The spirit has a bigger screen and a slightly better battery I know.
But is the battery really that much better? Is the performance of Spirit any better? If anyone has some advice on which better, I welcome it. I have heard that the Spirit is "not an upgrade". Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Either one will serve you fine. BUT, I wouldn't touch Metro PC with a ten foot pole. Lousy coverage and rotten quality are their motto. My wife and I drop calls all the time, from everywhere in the USA. Sometimes txt messages get sent, sometimes they don't. Depends on the mood at Metro that day. I am about to drop Metro after only 6 months and return to Verizon, where I NEVER had a dropped call over ten+ years. I went for cheaper service, and boy, did I get it!

I had nothing but problems with ATT coverage, dropped calls, etc...

Metro has been 100% perfection.

Go figure.

I would probably get an Optimus instead of a Motion at this point.
