ZV5 Stock Rom for LG Volt

These are stock rooted roms based off the new ZV5 update for the LG Volt. These are full rom with no bloat removed so they can be customized to your liking or used as a base for your own creations. Both the Odexed and Deodexed versions are rooted.

Disclaimer

*I have tested these on my phone and everything is working perfectly. By downloading and flashing this you agree that I will not be responsible if anything should go wrong and your phone Bricks, Breaks or Explodes!

*Always make a backup in recovery before flashing anything, including these roms. If you are not sure how to properly install these roms, please ask before flashing!

*Any changes made to the system partition will be lost (apps converted to system, buildprop tweaks, theming, etc) as these zips wipes the system partition to avoid conflicting files.

I updated the installer script to flash the boot image so it will not need to be flashed separately. I made this change in case anyone wants to flash back and forth between this and any of the CM Roms to make sure the correct boot image is in place.

The radio must still be flashed separately but after being flashed once it will not need to be flashed again.

Adding this to the rooting guide. Any idea if it is possible to skip past zv4 and go straight to this?
Also, what's the impact of this being odexed since the zv4 ROM is deodexed?

MD5 for the radio:
f3f42dd1df5c04f77cfd914cf042a01e

Should be no issue going from zv3 to zv5 as long as radio is flashed. Your existing system files will be removed so there will be no issue going from deodex to odex. The only issue someone might have is if they have anything themed. I'm hoping to get a deodex version out in next day or so but not sure on time as work is crazy.

So this has the stock launcher, lg theme, aosp and lg keyboards, stock music app, weather, voicemail, and browser? Eventually I want to purchase a music app called neutron, but stock isn't bad for now.

Yes this is all stock. This is first step. Next step will be a deodexed version, followed by a custom version with some theming and other goodies.

I'm learning as I go so it's a bit slow

I think I'll wait for the deodexed version, and if there is a way you can figure out how to get the radio image to flash with it, that'd be greatly appreciated as well. I like the stock theme, all I need is deodexed. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it, I'm sure there are people who can give you guidance. I've been away from android for awhile now, and I didn't know much to begin with.

This will wipe all current user data? or update and maintain Root?

All user data will be retained. It only formats system, cache and dalvik-cache. Root should be good to go right after flashing.

You don't want to have the radio in the rom zip. A radio is only flashed once and from then on shouldn't be written to again except for upgrades. Having it write radio every time the rom is flashed could be trouble because if something happens during the flash you could end up with a hard brick.
