Can u keep the IR remote for ur next release? Kinda use it a lot at home.May I use this as a new base for StockWalk?
If he doesn't, just make a backup of it and the quickset stuff before installing, then reinstall it.Can u keep the IR remote for ur next release? Kinda use it a lot at home.
Assume this will only work with cwm... Has anyone tried with twrp?

Just wanted to chime in and say i clean installed this eith twrp and radio was working so the zv4 issue was a complete fluke most likely caused by archikitchen.
Yeah, but as Qremote is the only way to use the IR, it's worth trying at least. As this isn't an actual part of the system, I think it'll be fine. I was able to backup the NFC Service, delete it, and reinstall it fine, just had to manually make it a system app again.Be careful backing up and restoring system apps as it can sometimes cause some issues. It's usually recommended not to.

Dirty flash over stock walk I seem to have lost my email exchange app... I will try a fresh flash later...just fyi
Dirty flashed over stock rooted zv4 with TWRP. Everything seemed to work OK, but every time I reboot, it has to reoptimize 14 apps. Link2SD shows that some system apps are not odexed. Reverted back, waiting for deodexed version.
Just wanted to double check, does the boot.img have to be flashed separately or not?
How's the performance of ZV5 compared to ZV3 and ZV4? I'm still on ZV3, so I don't have any experience of whatever performance tweaks were made to ZV4.
I've noticed my phone is not as zippy as it was on zv3. I'll play around and continue to debloat, but, other than that its great.
Dirty flashed the deodexed ROM over zv4 ROM. Getting the constantly reoptimizing apps every reboot again. Was also getting Play services crash, but that seems to have gone away...or only happens right after boot at least.
If there's some logs or something to send to investigate, let me know.
