Root Liberty 2.0.1 RELEASED!!!

running fine so far.......quick question...is liberty donate the only version of toolbox I need to download??.....seems to be missing some of the features posted
 
Hey, is anyone else having problems with thier camera.....any pic i take just comes up as a black screen??
 
its a bug that your phone possibly developed, i havent had the issue yet, but previous liberty versions i had some strange bugs, so thats all it really is, you can try reinstalling the 2.0.1 rom by downloading a fresh copy from the rom manager, and redoing everything again. i just took a picture and it came out fine. so just try reinstalling a new copy of the rom
 
i havent quite figured that part out lih
i have reflashed the rom, and it defaulted back, (not a fan of the yellow, but the default theme looks great on certain things)

i got this set up and didnt have any issues until flashed mysterious beast. i loved the theme from liberty 1.0 si i was stoked to apply it. well, my gmail would constantly force close upon opening. could not get it to open at all. tried wiping cach, and didnt change anything. so i wiped data and re-flashed the liberty 2.0.1 zip. gmail was working again, so i thought, maybe i will try a different theme, i really do hate the yellow, i tried united front this time and got the same results, force close with gmail.
i just flashed the liberty zip again without wiping data to get rid of the theme, and loaded a custom theme using the sephtin theme generator and things seem to be working fine so far. gmail, camera, and all the apps i use.

it must be an issue with loading themes via the toolbox
 
The liberty team just posted a fix for my camera issue...apparently it had to do with the liberty settings force close patch////fixed now....Saint...thanks for all the help!!

having the same issue w/ mysterious beast.....oreo seems to be working though
 
I have the same issue with g mail, I love watermarked but can't use it and any other theme from my sd card
 
I may be missing something somewhere but it sure would be nice to see a changelog somewhere?
-I purchased the toolbox and downloaded 2.0
-Installed the "settings force close fix"
-Now thee iw a Liberty v. 2.01 patch which would not install
-Droid X patch as well
-2.01 full rom

I installed the 2.01 full rom over 2.0 and it seemed to take fine, Do I still have to install the Droid X patch or is that part of 2.01?
 
Just wondering if anybody is having problems with then keyboard. Everytime I turned the phone in landscape mode and tried to type the phone would lock up. I ended up downloading the gingerbread keyboard from liberty rom manager and it seems to have fixed it. Just curious if anybody else has experienced this as well.
 
Is there a stock theme for 2.0.1? I didn't see one in the toolbox and searches didn't yield anything (unless I'm just an idiot).
 
i havent had any issues with the keyboard as of late, the download probably skipped a sector when downloading your rom, and thats what happened as a result, since you downloaded the gb keyboard and its working fine. i would worry too much about it


the stock theme for 2.0.1 is the yellow honeybread theme its not downloadable through the rom manager :( maybe we can get them to release that theme in the rom manager

are you just wanting to go back to stock theme from applying an alternate theme?

if that is the case all i did to achieve this was flash the 2.0.1 zip without wiping data and it brought it back to the stock liberty.
 
Is this based on 2.3.340? So I can move from liberty 1.5 to this right?


And what's all this GB talk? Sorry I was abroad for 3 weeks with no access to the interwebs.
