Root Liberty is quickly losing stability for me.

I took my ROM plunge with Liberty the night it was released. I absolute love about 90% of the experience. The other 10% includes "to be fixed" bugs I've read about (unchangeable drop-down text, missing clock on dark status bars) and, recently, some fairly unpredictable instability and truly annoying market behavior.

Issue 1: Random hard locks when going back to the desktop from random apps. This does not happen all the time, but generally happens when leaving a program that accesses the internet. The screen goes black and stays there with no response from any key press. After 3 or 4 minutes, the Eagle logo appears and the phone finished a reboot. This now happens 2 or 3 times a day.

Issue 2: Phone lockup with visuals. Same as Issue 1, only the screen remains visible. After a minute or two, all of the actions I will have tried to take will happen in rapid succession before the screen stops wherever it was to begin with. The phone then works fine.

Issue 3: Application upgrades download from the market, then fail to install. This issue is beyond annoying; it takes 8 or 9 presses of the "upgrade" button and subsequent downloads for anything to go beyond "Downloading" and actually install. One time, a program that I downloaded for the first time (what i thought was) unsuccessfully suddenly started installing itself a good 15 minutes after I'd given up.

Is anyone else experiencing issues along these lines? After enjoying the forbidden fruit of the ROM world, I don't want to even think about going back to stock but I'm afraid that is the next thing in the works for me.

Thank you for your help.

The only issue I have that you have is issue 3.\

But for me I usually only have to download the application again for it to install. If I pull down the notification bar and watch it dl it will install, but otherwise I usually have to redownload as well.

I have to agree that is must be a software issue with a program you're using. I'm also a power user going through 2+ batteries a day and I love this ROM. You may wanna tray wiping your Cache, or if necessary start from scratch and reload.

ok i dont how to do any of that my cuz rooted everything for me. im running the gingerbread theme. i did have droid overclock but uninstalled it. astro file manager and what ever clockworkmod is. i have found ways to do it on other forums but they way over my head as far finding the files and folders on the phone lol
