Root Like a kid in a candy store

Uprising

Newbie
I finally have my phone rooted with LFYv1.6, LFY 1100 Kernel and the all so stubborn BBFYv1.6 theme. It all took a couple weeks with a tremendous amount of reading, trying some stuff out over and over again but i got it done.

SoDroid, OMJ and UBRocked thank you for all your help!!!

good work i want to root mine but i think i dont have enough time to do it/not really good with computers... was it easy?

I followed OMJ's guide to Rooting w/o RSD Lite, then used SoDroid's reply from: Help!!!Potential Brick thread and just wouldn't give up until i got it to work for me.

To be honest it seems amazingly easy.

Install the Motorola Drives, connect the Droid making sure USB debugging is setup, and then run the executable = rooted.

Then install ROM manager, download a ROM, put it on the phone and install ;)
