Root Liquid Gingerbread v1.4 Release...

does 3g after a call work yet? in all the GB roms I've tried it doesn't work even though everyone says it was fixed/worked around??

Only problem I'm having is with BT voice dialing not giving spoken prompts like it should. I get the Listening dialog box that pops up, but I don't get the "Speak now" audio prompt, nor any other audio prompts, so I have to watch the screen to see if it got the # right, which kind of defeats the whole point of BTVD.
There are definitely some major bluetooth issues that weren't present in 1.3. As I posted before, A2DP is suddenly extremely unreliable.

I have noticed this quirk in 1.42 but it is very rare and in my case usually happens after extended calls. Other than that I have been running 1.42 since release and it has been really good with only a couple of random reboots and no lag whatsoever!:D

I have to say this is a good ROM but one major complaint:

Every time I reboot the ROM, there are always Apps missing. This is very annoying especially when the list of ROMS missing includes the Market. The fix is simple a restore from TiBu but annoying none the less.

Other then that fast ROM, no random reboots for me.

Starting to get somewhat frequent, random lockups/reboots (like 2 to 3 times a day). Seems to happen mostly when I'm trying to do a search inside Maps or in the browser, but also has happened while trying to watch flash video on websites.

Seems like this ROM is following the same pattern as the others I've tried. Runs like a champ for the first few days, then starts slowly deteriorating. *SIGH*

When it starts doing that try clearing the Dalvik-Cache (under Liquid Tools->System) and reboot. I read that tip somewhere else, don't remember where or I'd give due credit. I have had great luck with that process.

I'd recommend the same thing. Sometimes it works, other times it's like nothing happened (didn't help me at all on PE5). So far, LGB1.4.2 has slowed down a hair, but for the most part still functioning pretty decently. However, I'm def ready for a new ROM. Been a while since I've been wowwed.

Cleared the Dalvik-Cache, but it hasn't helped me much. Still getting random reboots, and am now getting weird phone call glitches, like the callers name and photo not showing up on the call screen. Think I'm going to give the latest CM7 a try.

Same here. Everything has slown down so much since I got my Droid. Even with the new phones I dont see anything ROM wise much better. This isnt a reply to trash the devs. I appreciate all they do but I wish Android still had the pace it used to.

I hear and feel ya. There was a time when Droid ROMs were coming out at a furious pace, updates to ROMs happened in days, not weeks. But we all understand they have their daily lives and routines to work around.

I think the biggest thing is that the Droid WAS the dev phone to play with. Now, so many have moved on. It started when the DX was released and has slowly trickled away since. Still, we have better support than the DInc. But if you gaze in the TB forums, you'll see a lot of familiar devs popping up, including Liquid.

But there's a couple new ROMs out, guess it's time to play.

Couldn't take the reboots and phone calls issues anymore (person on the other end can't hear me about 25% of the time). Switched to UD3.2. The quest continues.

Edit: UD3.2 is giving me numerous random reboots while using GPS Nav. Off to try another GB ROM.
