Liquidsense 2.1 help!!!! Flash problems

Ok seem to have a problem with connecting to wifi (no icon at top of screen) :(
when i go to menu and then wireless and networks
wi-fi is checked and shows that i'm connected to network
but I have no wifi icon and at market downloads took a long time

any suggestions :)

What didn't work?
Flashing Liquidsense after downloading straight to my phone. Do you think my problems have anything to do with this:

This is my phone software info:
Firmware - 2.1-update1
Baseband - 2.42.02.10.29
Kernel - 2.6.29-ba77cf03
Build# - 2.32.651.2 CL282911 release-keys
Software# - 2.32.651.2

If so what should I do? I'm pulling my hair out.

If you have successfully rooted your phone and you have flashed a recovery, it won't matter what build you have

What do you think I should do now? What is the best way to just completely start over? There is something messed up somewhere on my phone I guess. When do I need to be in debug mode and when shouldn't I be? Does 64bit Win7 have anything to do with this?

Do you have SU app in your app drawer, have you tried flashing a different RoM ?

To be honest, I never connect my phone via usb. If I need to see what's on my sd card, I use es file explorer. I download all roms directly to the phone and flash from recovery that way. The only time I connect via usb is when I need to transfer something to the computer for safe keeping, ie; nandroid, pictures...

OK I went back to all your post and noticed you are using the CWM app to boot into recovery, have you tried booting into recovery with your phone off, hold the volume key down and end key at the same time, then when prompted hit the home key to get into recovery, then wipe cache and davlik, nothing else, then try to flash LS again and reboot, report back

I've got SU in my app drawer. I've successfully flashed CM6, but that's it. I've tried to flash AOSP (aospMod-v0.9.9.2-signed.zip and gapps-mdpi-20101213-signed.zip) except that when it reboots it just stays on the HTC startup screen. I have to pull the battery out for that one.

Try what I said and report back, if not then you will most likely have to install the RUU again and root your phone again, because if you flashed CM6 before there is not reason why you can't flash AOSP or LS, one more thing to ask a stupid question but have to ask, your phone is a Sprint CDMA phone correct?

I would assume that it is a CDMA phone since I bought it from Sprint. How else would I be able to tell? That's all CWM offers me too. Let me try it the way you suggested and get back to you. Thanks for all the help btw.

If you've gotten CM6 to boot...
Download
aospMod-v0.9.9.2-signed.zip

gapps-mdpi-20101213-signed.zip

Boot to recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik cache

Flash 0.9.9.2
Flash gapps
Flash kernel
(Flash all one by one)

Reboot phone

Then it is CDMA, had to ask as we have help many to find out they were not, LOL just making sure

The reason why I mention to some to try it that way, I never use the app to flash, because sometimes the CWM app causes issue and also some have issues when they do a FR and wipe partition, so figure it is worth a shot

how long should it take for it to boot up? It's been stuck on the "Now" screen for a bit. I installed it from the download folder on my sd card too, not the root.

BTW, where can I get the RUU?

No luck on this one. I've been sitting on the HTC screen for over 5 mins. I'll wait about 5 more and then I'm punting.

I'll probably just flash the RUU and start completely over.

No luck again. Just out of curiosity, what should I see mounted/unmounted in the partitions menu in recovery mode?

I'm probably gonna flash a RUU and start completely over. Any suggestions on with one?
