Accessories Little help finding a mount

sfurules

Newbie
So, I have been waiting for Christmas to get myself a nice present for my phone and car (now that I drive to work).

I had seen on here a mount that was really cool, but I have been through the threads and can't find it anymore. I am hoping someone can guide me to it.

It was a system that had a really flat disc that attached to the phone and/or case, and then the mount would be attached to the dash (or whatever) using a really sticky back. Came with a cleaner to apply first...and then the mount itself was adjustableup down, left right...and when not being used could sit pretty flat on the dash. The best part of this mount was that the base was made of a thinner metal that you would adjust to the contours of the surface it was attaching to.

Any ideas?

Thanks People!

I believe you are thinking of the Tetrax Xway mount. Not sure were it is in the forum, but you can just Google it. I have one and it works well.

This is what your looking for, the Soundgate M2: Amazon.com: SoundGate M2 German engineered to safely secure your iPod, iPhone, Nano, Touch, Classic, Garmin, Cell Phone, Blackberry, Zune, MP3, or other portable device to your dash, or console: Electronics

I have it, in conjuction with the casemate barely-there case, which I leave attached to the mount because I don't use a case on a daily basis. I've had it for a couple months and have been very pleased. I can throw a pic up a little later of it if you'd like.

This is it. Thank you!

I have the m2 and it works great. The disk isn't noticeable on the phone.

Everything seems very permanent. Not great for switching cars but otherwise, very happy.

by the way, don't mount it near your heating vent. The heater makes mine overheat, luckly, the way I mounted it makes it so I can flip it lower and get around the heating vent.

People have combined the m2 mount with the Tetrax Xway. I just bought mine and I love it. Still waiting on the m2 though. I was a bit impatient but luckily sears sells the Xway. I ordered it online and did the in store pick up. It was ready in like 30 min.

Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

That is NOT the xway. The pictured Tetrax in that link sells for about $20 on the Tetrax website if I'm not mistaken

Yup, the picture in the link above is a picture of the FIX Line, not the XWAY, and it sells for $14.99 on the tetrax website

Your upper vents are made for air conditioning, not heat. The heater vents are down by your feet. Heat rises, that's why you are supposed to use the lower vents by your feet for heat.
