[LIVE] On VZW, Extended Battery for $25

Ordering mine now for half price. I did think it was funny, you can buy the standard battery for $39.99 OR you can buy the spare battery charger, which doubles as a dock with a y-connector and includes an extra standard battery for...$39.99.

I used my corp discount to purchase the spare battery charger w/ battery in the store and got it for $29.99.

EDIT: $26.89 shipped. Had to log out to override my 25% corp discount. Interestingly, I tried to add another to the cart, but it charged me full price for the second one, bringing my total to $74.98. Going to try ordering one as a separate order and see what happens. Also, I didn't see any other accessories listed at half price in the cart. Either a fluke with the extended battery, or a completely unadvertised special. Like WAY under the radar type of promo.

EDIT#2: Verified. Placing separate orders of 1 each, you can buy multiple batteries at the 50% off price.

I LOVE this site for these very reasons!

They are different. everyone keeps saying that the stock door fits PERFECT with the extended battery, this is NOT the case, it fits I'd say 98%. the extended battery will bulge out the stock door ever so slightly and there will be a small gap on the bottom.

The differences in the 2 battery doors are very very slight, but the extended battery door does not have the "ski jump" on the bottom, it goes flat.

IMO, the door that comes with the extended battery fits BETTER and you cant really notice much of a difference.

I am wondering how well these will fit into some of the cases being offered out there, then. I've already ordered the extended battery (half price). The phone will be here Tuesday or Wednesday with the battery just behind. I was hoping to have a case on the way as well. =X
 
I called Verizon today because I was getting the error message while checking my order and they told me the item has sold out and I will be shipped the battery when it was available. Today FedEx came to my door with the battery.

The extended battery works flawlessly with the G Nex Otterbox Defender Case.
The extended battery will also charge using the standalone battery charger.
(It charges, but you wont be able to close the flap completely on the standalone charger, no biggie)
 
What kind of extended life should one expect from the 2100mha battery and is there a larger one available for the Nexus?
 
It still doesn't show up in My Business account online. I wonder if they have these in stock in store for the sale price now.

It was weird when I logged in and looked for it, it doesn't show up. But I went to the OP's link and it let me order it :)
 
Just placed my order this morning - now, after 8 1/2 hours my stock battery is at 40% whereas it's normally inching towards dead right about now.

Ah well, still will be good for those longer nights/trips to have the secondary.

Yeah, my primary battery is doing ok. Still a great price though for a second battery and back cover.
