Root Load screen cycle

I was getting bored with y current ROM, and loved the look of the white theme from KingsROM UNleashed R5, so I flashed the ROM, turned on my phone, setup my phone like usual, and it was all running smoothly, no I have never flashed a theme before, and may have done it wrong, but I heard that you did it the same way as you do when flashing a new ROM, so I ran through all the steps, flashed the theme, and when i turn on the phone, it goes to the white Evo 4g page, then goes to the animation screen (does it have a name?) and gets stuck on a cycle there. The animation plays for a few seconds, then the phone vibrates for a fraction of a second, freezes the screen, and starts the animation over again. I've tried a few times now to no avail. Any help?

the white screen is called the splash screen, and the animaition screen is called the boot animation screen. so did you wiped dalvik cache and cache before flashing the theme? did you make a nandroid backup?

Ya, I wiped the cache/dalvik, then flashed the theme (i tried two different themes from Kings ROM page), and it just gets stuck in the animation screen. I know it can take a while to boot up after you wipe the caches, but i left them for a good ten minutes, and it usually only takes 2-4min with my current ROM. And ya, Ive got a couple nandroids just in case one fails on me, which has happened before:(

well when i try a theme i make a nandroid of the rom with no theme that way i can always go back and start over if i do not like the theme or something goes wrong. on that note try wiping data and both caches and reflash the rom/make a nandroid/wipe dalvik cache and cache/flash the theme. see if that works. also maybe try and re-download the .zip file. could also be a bad download.

yeah his themes are getting to over the top for me, but his roms are always very smooth and fast. i always just change the launcher to get rid of some of the theming. i love launcher pro's transitions.
