Help loading screen when unlock

recently i have downloaded WidgetLocker from the market and i really like it.

However i think that since doing this i've caused an issue... sometimes when i unlock the phone it goes to the white loading screen with the green HTC logo. This has never happened before on unlock but now it does it quite regularly. As well as this i sometimes get the faded screen with 'loading' bit, if you know what i mean.

Could it be somethng to do with my in app settings, and has anyne else had it or found a solution?

It just goes back to normal, my homescreen. Just becoming irritating.

tried uninstalling widget locker see if it fixes it? iv just started using widget locker and its alright so far.
Just try, least then you will know if it is that program or not.

Sometimes problems start immediately after installing an app, especially when they made significant changes such as WidgetLocker or LauncherPro. Uninstall and see if it helps, and if all is ok then install it again. There was a known problem with LauncherPro where you needed to download and install it twice before it would work, this could be a similar thing.

Right. I've just read in app about some '5 second rule' so turned on 'home helper'. Gonna give it a few days to see if it helps... if not I'll report back and try the uninstall. Cheers for advice anyway guys.

I don't know if this is relevant but I sometimes have the same issue after plugging-unplugging usb. All of my app icons that are on the SD are represented with the default android icon for a long time after unplugging my usb cable. It seems that it takes too long to mount - unmount my SD

I had similar issues the other day. A reboot fixed it. I'm guessing it was an errant app.

Well, it solved the problem after uninstall but missed the app... reinstalled and I think its completely stopped! Thank-you for any help

=/ it started again... cannot work out why, seen as nobody else seems to have this issue with widgetlocker.

Anyway i'll just have to ignore it because i want to keep my lock screen!

There are some settings in widget locker that may help. Have you experimented?

I have the exact same problems as you...it's really annoying but i like the options of this app....can anyone recommend something better/similar?

Better? No. Similar? Go locker perhaps?

Magic lock is good and it has some well known rom developers designing the lockscreens, xj being one who created the miuixj rom, it has some clever miui lockscreens but also lots of other themes aswell. Worth a look.
