Using a file manager app (such as Estrongs or Root Explorer), go to a folder named "clockworkmod" then from there you'll see a series of folders which one of them are named "backups".

No I am pretty sure that it just puts ROMS on the ROOT of the SD card. I'm not too familiar with ROM manager because I just do everything manually but when you install something manually it has to be on the root of the card.

Since i have backups of the roms installed already it wouldnt mess up anything if i deleted the stuff thats in the download folder would it?

Just in case someone running Amon Ra pops their head in here....you would use a file manager as described above and a folder named "nandroid" will be located in the root folder of the sdcard. Once you open it you will find another folder starting out with HT08 and a series of alpha-numeric characters. Open that folder and you will find your backups named by date. They can be renamed safely (with spaces) so long as you don't plan on restoring them with Clockwork at a later time through Rom Manager (it does not like spaces).

That is in fact the correct location for back ups made with Ra but I was under the impression ra backups and clockwork backups were not interchangeable. If you created a backup with clockwork and try to restore via amon ra it wouldn't work and if you created a backup in ra and try and restore from clockwork it would not work. (could be wrong but I do recall it this way)

Rom manager will also not allow most functions when Ra is set as the recovery, as it designed by and for use with clockwork. One would need to flash back to Clockwork via Rom manager prior to using Rom manager's functions. This I know for sure :P

I'm pretty sure you are right as far as I know you can not restore a clockwork backup on RA and vice versa.
