Lock Screen Does Not Shut Off?

So I realized after getting a calendar reminder, the lock screen just stays on until you dismiss it. So then I checked by just turning the EVO without a reminder to see if the lock screen would shut down and the backlight just stays on that way as well......

The phone is not plugged in either.....

Can others test this out and see if there screen shuts off or is there a separate setting for the lock screen?

I have tried different setting with the Calender; the screen doesn't automatically turn on when reminders turn on. I think my Eris did when I was with Verizon. I don't remember.

Kinda stumped on what the problem is. Explain again?

My screen turns on with reminders.

Nope, no problem with reminders locking up the EVO...yet.

It doesn't lock up. The backlight doesn't turn off on its own.
